Summer is officially out the door and fall is underway, and you know what that means…it means your thermostat isn’t the only thing changing! It’s time for everyone to enjoy cooler air, falling leaves, and receding pollen. Have you made the proper changes to your HVAC system?

In response to the arrival of fall, here are all the things you should be doing to match your HVAC system with the changing weather…

  • Get Your System Serviced- Call E. Smith to get your system serviced! We’ll check your heating system thoroughly to make sure you’re ready for whatever weather may come this fall or winter.
  • Check Your Filters- Changing your filters regularly is already a good idea, and it’s an especially good idea to check them at the start of each new season. Remember that depending on the type of system you have, you may need to check the filter again in 90 days for a possible cleaning.
  • Adjust Your Thermostat- As mentioned before, the weather is changing, and as such, so should your thermostat! Dropping the temperature on your thermostat to match the cooler air outside will help you adjust faster to the changing air.
  • We’re loving fall so far! Are you? Follow this guide, and you’ll be comfortable in no time!
