Preventative Maintenance Technician, HVAC

Compensation: $35,000 – $50,000

Employment Type: Full-Time

Qualifications:

Some Technical School training preferred.
Must be 21 and have valid Georgia Driver’s License and have clean driving record for at least the past three years. The driving record (MVR) will be checked prior to employment and must be acceptable to our insurance company.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and be willing to abide by the rules for our Georgia Certified Drug-Free workplace.
Must pass pre-employment background check.
Previous work experience must demonstrate the ability to communicate with co-workers and customers along with punctuality, reliability, and dependability.
Must be EPA Certified.
High School Diploma or GE.
Must be able to physically perform job requirements, such as (but not limited to): standing for long periods, squatting, climbing ladders, crawling, working from heights and in tight spaces, lifting weights of 50 pounds or more, etc.

Responsibilities:

Must be able to read and understand technical data and wiring diagrams.
Must be willing to promote and sell maintenance agreements to customers.
Demonstrate ability to use current iPad technology for communications and field reporting.
Arrive at jobsite at scheduled time and location as dispatched.
Maintain necessary truck stock levels in company-provided vehicle.
Follow instructions from supervisor and/or dispatch team.
Communicate regularly with customers and the dispatch team in a friendly and efficient manner.
Always maintain professional appearance and attitude.
Complete all service-related forms properly.
Inform/Acquire and educate customers about residential/commercial planned maintenance agreements.
Inform and educate customers on additional products, replacement options, and services available through E. Smith.
Excellent working knowledge of diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques.
Complete necessary paperwork to support invoices, estimates, orders, warranty paperwork, timesheets and other information provided to customers, coworkers and supervisors as needed.
Pick up parts, supplies and equipment from distributors in company vehicle as needed or required.
Clean job site. Job site should be picked up and left in a condition better or equivalent to that as when we arrived. This includes moving all trash and debris, sweeping or vacuuming site, removing all tools, parts and equipment.

Service Technician, HVAC

Compensation: $45,000 – $120,000

Employment Type: Full-Time

Qualifications:

Minimum three years related HVAC experience.
Must be 21 and have a valid Georgia Driver’s License and have clean driving record for at least the past three years. The driving record (MVR) will be checked prior to employment and must be acceptable to our insurance company.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and be willing to abide by the rules for our Georgia Certified Drug-Free workplace.
Must pass pre-employment background check.
Must be EPA Certified.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Must possess all necessary HVAC technician hand tools, meters, etc.
Must be able to physically perform job requirements, such as (but not limited to): standing for long periods, squatting, climbing ladders, working from heights, lifting weights of 50 pounds or more, etc.
Demonstrate ability to use current iPad technology for communications and field reporting.
Neat professional appearance is required.

Installation Mechanic, HVAC

Compensation: $60,000 – $100,000 (“Piecework” pay structure)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Qualifications:

Must be 21 and have a valid Georgia Driver’s License and have clean driving record for at least the past three years. The driving record (MVR) will be checked prior to employment and must be acceptable to our insurance company.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and be willing to abide by the rules for our Georgia Certified Drug-Free workplace.
Must pass pre-employment background check.
Must be EPA Certified.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Must possess all necessary HVAC technician hand tools, meters, etc.
Must be able to physically perform job requirements, such as (but not limited to): standing for long periods, squatting, climbing ladders, crawling, working from heights and in tight spaces, lifting weights of 50 pounds or more, etc.

Install add-ons, and replacements of HVAC systems in residential homes and light commercial properties per local codes.
Properly use safety equipment daily, back brace, lifting harness, safety glasses and continual observation of surroundings and team members.
Clean truck as needed, including exterior washing and interior cleanings. Vehicle should be kept free of trash, debris, unused food and drink. Vehicle interior should be swept free from excess dirt. Vehicle interior compartments should hold all tools and equipment, keeping floor area free from falling and/or rolling items.
Properly prepare the job site using drop cloths, moving furniture or obstructions and prepare surface areas using floor protectors.
Properly install ductwork per code.
Complete necessary paperwork to support invoices, estimates, orders, warranty paperwork, timesheets and other information provided to customers, coworkers and supervisors as needed.
Pick up parts, supplies and equipment from distributors in company vehicle as needed or required.
Operate company vehicle following all Safety standards and applicable laws.
Follow instructions from supervisor in a timely manner.
Immediately report any problems with company tools or vehicles to the office.
Work well with customers and co-workers.
