Energy Savings Agreement

Looking to take your savings to the next level? Want to keep your home at a peak of energy efficiency? If you’re one of the more dedicated energy savers in Marietta, Georgia, you’ve probably established great, efficient habits, but much of the money you’re losing every month is a result of things you can’t personally control.

In fact, you may not realize you’re losing money until you’ve already lost hundreds of dollars. The key is to grasp control of those sources of energy loss in your home. An Energy Savings Agreement with E. Smith will transform your HVAC system from an energy sapper to a money saver.

What Is an Energy Savings Agreement?

Energy usage in your home centers on your HVAC. Sure, it’s not the only source of energy usage, but it makes up more than half of the energy used in the average American household, according to the U.S. Department of Energy. So when your HVAC system is operating well, you’ll be saving money, but the moment things start to go downhill, so does your budget. An Energy Savings Agreement through E. Smith targets your HVAC system and ensures that it positively contributes to your energy bills.

Energy Savings Agreements allow you to schedule regular preventive maintenance checkups all on your own time. These maintenance checkups involve a detailed inspection, filter replacement, suggestions for future repairs, and any necessary maintenance.

Types of Energy Savings Agreements

Since we understand that different families have different needs, we offer two different types of Energy Savings Agreements so you can save money on your own terms. Both the Gold and Platinum versions of the agreements offer over 50 years of valuable industry and technical experience, enough that we’ll give you a 100-percent satisfaction guarantee. Opting into an ESA, no matter what type you choose, will give you priority over any other customers who don’t also have an ESA.

The Gold ESA offers two professional tuneups scheduled at your own convenience. For $140 for one year of service, you get the priority, experience, inspection, and maintenance mentioned previously, as well as a less expensive $50 diagnostic fee (as opposed to $85 for non-ESA members) and $50 after-hours emergency repair fee (as opposed to the $110 for non-ESA). You’ll also receive a 15 percent discount on repairs and a 5 percent discount on equipment purchases.

The Platinum Energy Savings Agreement offers the same two professional tuneups, priority, and maintenance as the Gold plan, but this plan cuts the fees for diagnostics and after-hours emergency repair. And, you only have to pay $160 for one year.

Why Get an Energy Savings Agreement?

So what makes this investment worthwhile? Well, sometimes you have to spend money to save money, especially when it comes to your HVAC system. Maintenance is crucial to keeping your HVAC system running in its peak condition. It reduces strain caused by disrepair, and prevents issues that are already reducing your energy efficiency from becoming worse. In fact, regular maintenance will help you save up to 30 percent on HVAC operating costs.

But the benefits don’t stop there. Regular maintenance, especially changing filters, ensures that your system can more effectively maintain high indoor air quality in your home. And believe it or not, the same dust, dirt, and other particles that can make you sick also inhibit your HVAC system. So if you make your system more effective at catching those particles, you’ll not only be healthier, but your HVAC system will run more efficiently.

While your HVAC system certainly won’t last forever, maintenance can extend its lifespan. Less strain on the system means that it will provide you with comfort and efficiency for many seasons and years to come. Paying for the service agreement may feel like an investment, but you wouldn’t want to spend the money on a new system when yours suddenly quits from lack of maintenance.

You’ve worked long and hard to build an energy-efficient lifestyle, so let us take the reins from here. You won’t regret investing in an Energy Savings Agreement with E. Smith. To experience the benefits of an ESA firsthand, call us today at 678-369-8866.
